Tricks Ebay for Selling … eBay is a buyer’s market, and buyers are always going to find great deals. This does not mean it’s impossible to sell on eBay, but you have to do their own research and implement specific strategies.

  1. 1. 99 Cent Rule: You always see those low starting price auctions, the people who started under 99 cents. You may wonder why people do that, and what happens if you actually sell for 99 cents. Well here is a rundown public and some of his own thoughts / input. You can start the phone out for 100 bucks, and get some bids and may sell it for $ 125 in the end, or you can start off at 99 cents and get more people hooked early (bidding war) and have a final price rose to $ 150. It would be better to fill the title with words that more potential buyers could be found. If you’re going to sell some gold on eBay, a good title might be “1955 Gold Twenty $ 20 PCGS MS-65 Money Coins”. If someone searches on eBay for the word “Money” or “coin” the auction will still come not only restrict to just the word “Gold”. Notice how I also included variations of words, like “$ 20″ and “Twenty”. This way you be sure to cover all your bases incase someone looking for something with one of the words. I also do not worry about formatting the title with so many punctuation because it does not matter. I do not use commas to make it look good because that space could be better used for some keywords. As a final note, be sure to not do this in the title, “PlayStation Xbox GameCube Sony PSP … NO GAME BOY”. Not only that violate the terms eBay, but just annoying. Certainly not the xbox, gamecube, or Game Boy, it was the PSP.
  4. Picture: Without them people will not have anything visual that has the product. If you do not have a way to send pictures ACTUAL product, do not waste your time posting an item on eBay. Your auction will be lame without the pictures, and your final price will be significantly less then with a good picture. When taking pictures, it is best to do it against a neutral background like black or white. You can always set up a poster board or sheet to achieve this. Avoid having a noisy background because of all this is to draw the attention of buyers of the item. Be sure to have a good light source, like a very nice bright room, or outside in the middle of the day. It is also best to avoid using the flash on the camera, because all this is to make items look different from what actually looked like.
  5. Shipping: Best advice for this is simply to use common sense. Do not ship anything in a thin package, and make the extra effort to ensure the well-packaged items. Be sure to tear up any old label from the package if it was used before, and tried to create a rule to use at least 3 through the tape at the top and bottom seam of the package. Try to save the item in the package, because it will get the point most easily damaged. Sometimes it is better to put an invoice in the package, but not a necessity. A sweet note with the package is always good and make buyers feel comfortable, and all buyers love tracking numbers so they can track their packages and not have to worry about your e-mail asking about the date of arrival.
  6. Feedback: Do not leave until the buyer leaves feedback. Make sure that when leaving feedback, you make a personal. Buyers do not want to read some generic feedback, and it would look much more professional and make the buyer feel better about the purchase if you spend 15 seconds and write a personal comment. Be sure to preserve and maintain the positive feedback rating. I understand mistakes happen, but if someone does not leave you actually negative or neutral feedback, try to dispute the feedback if it is not true. Also, under any circumstances, negative or neutral feedback you receive, be sure to respond and to tell the story and ensure the future of the buyer. Purchaser will check your feedback, and if they see the negative feedback and neutral who did not respond they may be afraid and do not bid on the item.
